David Owuor Ogeno

David has over 9 years experience in the Construction/Contracting Industry. He holds a Masters in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi; a Bachelor of Commerce Degree Double Major and Finance from Strathmore University; a CPA(K) finalist from the Vision Institute and a Monitoring and Evaluation Certification.
He started off as caretaker at Miseru Flats in Langata and rose through the ranks to make property manager in 2007. In 2009, Miseru embarked on an expansion building construction.
project for Miseru Flats South B, a 13 unit two-bedroom apartment block valued at KES 30 million. This project launched Dave in Project Management and construction related.
Over the past five years, Dave has continued to acquire a wealth of experience providing consultancy and project management to organizations as Managing Director of DAPALK, an enterprise he registered in partnership with other friends as business partners.
Dave has led an experienced and successful team whilst playing an active role developing innovative solutions, formulating strategies for project implementation, business sourcing and business development. Under his guidance and amid stiff competition in the industry, DAPAK managed to win government tenders for building construction projects and delivered top notch quality work. Dave’s competencies lie in analysis and planning. Quality, Time and Scope are at the forefront of his service provision.
He has been instrumental in overseeing myriad high-profile projects. These include:
- Kenya Bureau of Standards office partition and elongation at a cost of KES 23 million. Project completed to client satisfaction.
- 2016, Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) Industrial Area Office, upgrading the Chief Executive Officer’s Wing.
- 2016 Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) Office Renovations for Embakasi and Eldoret Offices.
- Garden City IMAX Cinema Partitions and Interiors.
- Judiciary Law Courts in Rongo.
- Project Manager for Mbita County Law Courts Project valued at KES 148 million.
- 2017 Supreme Court Renovation – Chief Justice Chambers interiors and Supreme Court Judges office renovations and upgraded interiors.
- Student Centre for Multimedia University.
- Under PINNIE Agencies, Dave is the Project Manager for design and build project for lecture halls and offices for Multimedia University. The project is ahead of schedule, handover will be done in August 2018.
- Upgrading to Bitumen standards Rongo and Awendo township phase i Road, Migori County, world Bank funded project.
- KISUMU Rotary Innovation Centre, Kisumu County.
- Nyamasaria Bus park -Kisumu County.
